Community Rules

Rule A0: Prioritize everybody's fun above all else

Above any other rule: consider other people's fun in the way you play.

You may be punished for acting in a way that is unreasonably unfun for other players.

Rule A1: ERP is NOT allowed

Despite being a 18+ server, ERP (Erotic RolePlay) is strictly forbidden in any circumstances.

  • No explicit sexual content/themes are allowed, whether in roleplay, character records, character descriptions or anywhere else.
  • Insults, vague teasing and such are allowed if done tastefully. For example saying "Yeah we fuck everyday" as a joke is acceptable. Use the Admin Help (F1) chat if you have any doubts regarding this rule.
  • Romantic roleplay is allowed so long as it does not escalate to sexual themes. Kissing and hand-holding are allowed within reason.

Examples

Allowed:

  • Insults such as calling someone a dickhead or telling someone to "shove it up your ass".
  • Being affectionate in a mutually consensual way.
  • Openly being in a loving relationship with another crew member.
  • Kissing, hand-holding, dates and non-sexual physical interaction, within reason.
  • Flirting with other crew members or antagonists (so long as they don't express discomfort).

Prohibited:

  • Emoting sexual acts.
  • Erotic content.

If roleplay reaches a point where it has become sexual and/or uncomfortable, immediately stop and contact an administrator or moderator. Breach of this rule may have you banned permanently from Quantum Blue. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask an admin via the AHelp (F1) chat.

Rule A2: Quantum Blue is a community server first and foremost. Be respectful.

Quantum Blue is many things, but our number one priority is maintaining a healthy community.

  • Above any other rule: consider other people's fun in the way you play. You may be punished for acting in a way that is unreasonably unfun for other players.
  • Be respectful towards other players and avoid making others uncomfortable.
  • While we deeply value our players' comfort, we're also very well aware of other communities that allow bullying and harassment to thrive from "comfort" complaints. This attitude won't be tolerated here.
  • Usage of LOOC, OOC and dead channels to complain or harass other players is strictly forbidden. You may be banned for 2 hours minimum for doing this.
  • We have a zero tolerance policy for racism, sexism, homophobia, violence, threats, hate speech, slurs, and other forms of bigotry, discrimination, and harassment.
  • Failure to comply with this rule will result in community removal.

Rule A3: Current-rounding is forbidden

Current-rounding (sharing info about the current round) is inherently disruptive to a roleplay environment.

  • Sharing information your character would not normally have in a round whether in LOOC/OOC chats or on another platform; both are explicitly forbidden.
  • Streaming your game live to others is allowed, but anyone caught in that same round and watching your stream will be in trouble for it.
  • It goes without saying that encouraging this behavior will also get you, the streamer, in trouble.

Examples

Allowed:

  • Talking on Discord about the manifest that round (this information is already available to anyone in the lobby).
  • Streaming on Discord or Twitch without interacting with your viewers in-game.

Prohibited:

  • You just rolled an antagonist role or got converted into one and used LOOC chat to mention it.
  • This still applies if you do this in front of other people who know about it in-character, as other people can still hear your message through walls. There is zero tolerance for this and you will be punished for it.
  • You told someone else what the current gamemode is, somebody's antagonist status, what you have on you or actions you've done this shift when they wouldn't normally have access to that information.
  • After taking a ghost role or being revived you gave others information you obtained while observing.

This is a high severity rule to break and our staff will have little tolerance for it. Don't test your luck. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask an admin via the AHelp (F1) chat.

Rule A4: Respect the AHelp chat

The AHelp (F1) chat is for contacting admins. We are a small staff, so please be respectful and mindful that we may not always be able to respond right away.

  • Don't be afraid to AHelp! You won't get in trouble for using it in good faith, and in the worst case scenario you may not get any replies if we're busy.
  • Responding with hostility, refusing to respond, lying or intentionally disconnecting when an admin contacts you through the AHelp chat may result in swift punishment.
  • All AHelp messages are relayed to the Quantum Blue Discord server, meaning we can still see them even if no admin is currently in-game. Feel free to contact a game admin on discord if your issue isn't resolved in the same round.

Rule A5: Do not abuse exploits

Do not intentionally exploit the game, use cheats or macros.

The use of any third-party applications/script/client modifications with the intent of cheating the game or intentional abuse of known glitches/exploits/bugs will be met with an appeal-only ban.

Depending on the severity of the exploit you may be permanently ban without a warning. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask an admin via the AHelp (F1) chat.
